Maine House Fails to Override Veto of Solar Bill

The Maine House of Representatives came up two votes short April 29 of overriding the governor’s veto of a bill to build a bigger solar base in the state.

Solar proponents had clogged the halls of the statehouse to lobby for the legislation (L.D. 1649) to boost solar generation in Maine, which is dead last in solar installation in the Northeast.
