Senate Panel Advances 22 Energy Bills

Bipartisan bills supporting advanced nuclear reactors and expediting the export of small amounts of liquefied natural gas were among 22 pieces of energy-related legislation approved by the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and advanced to the full Senate July 16.

The bills are part of an “all of the above” energy strategy that would help cut greenhouse gas emissions to address climate change, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) said at the committee business meeting.
