Spilled Budweiser, Coors Targeted in Colorado Air Pollution Crackdown

Spilled beer can do more than cause a grown man to cry. It also results in an evaporation of ethyl alcohol that creates air pollution.

Proposed rules in Colorado would require the state’s two largest beermakers—Anheuser-Busch InBev NV and MillerCoors LLC—to reduce container breakage and product loss that contributes to ozone pollution.
