Another Houston Chemical Fire Leaves One Dead, 2 Injured (1)

An explosion and fire at a chemical plant northeast of Houston left one person dead and two injured, just two weeks after a blaze at an oil storage facility became the Gulf Coast’s worst industrial disaster in 14 years.

Students near the fire at the KMCO LLC plant in Crosby and residents within a one-mile radius were instructed to remain inside, Harris county officials said on Twitter April 2.
